Technical Information
GENERAL
The prefabricated Expanda-Store consists of an
uninsulated closed volume flat-packed storage container. Construction is
obtained by mounting the components constructed in galvanized steel sheets
on the ground requiring only manpower. Assembly of the store is simple,
using nuts and bolts supplied.

Construction Components
MAIN COMPONENTS
The main construction elements of the container are as
follows:

Main Construction Elements
CHASSIS
The chassis of the Expanda-Store is formed by fastening
the pre-assembled 18 mm thick timber plank boarding to a galvanized steel
profile frame.
SIDE WALLS & ROOF PANEL
After forming the 0,73 mm galvanized steel sheets into
the trapezoidal cross section, the panels are produced by combining them
with galvanized steel frame profiles using a spot welding process.
DOOR PANEL
After forming the 0,63 mm galvanized steel sheets into
the trapezoidal cross sections, they are fastened by using the galvanized steel door
profiles by means of a spot welding process. The doors are produced as
explained above, and mounted into the door frame by means of galvanized
hinges.
FASTENING ELEMENTS
Four 12 mm diameter rods are used to connect the roof to
the chassis. These also form lifting eyes for use with a crane.
PACKING
All components of the Expanda-Store are specially packed
to ensure that they are not damaged during transportation, loading and unloading
under normal circumstances. The smallest transportation cube is achieved in this packing process.
